Lauren is one of a kind! I literally found her in a practice room “pretending” she was not a music major—that changed quickly. Her cerebral approach to music was unique and a joyful challenge to all of her music faculty. Through the process of first being a curious student then becoming a creative confidant our friendship has morphed over the years into something quite special. She simply sees the world in a different way and I am a better person for knowing her.
