With all my training in music, the voice, and singing I continue to be amazed by the unique vocal timbre in siblings. I love it when a singer brings a family member to join them on a concert, recital or open mic night. My brother Caleb joined me on a recent recital I gave and it was such an incredible gift.
This song, from The Greatest Showman, “A Million Dreams” makes us both think of our maternal grandfather. Imagine a Kansas City craps player turned charismatic business man—he was larger than life and not only did we loved him dearly, we learned so so much from him that we carry with us today.
